Running backs Pittman, Ogbonnaya cut; Carriker on IR
Running backs Chris Ogbonnaya and Antonio Pittman were released by the Rams on Saturday. Although the team still has one roster move to make before reaching the 53-man roster limit, it appears that Kenneth Darby is safe _ at least for now _ joining Samkon Gado as backups to Steven Jackson.
The Rams confirmed the following roster cuts: LB K.C. Asiodu; QB Brock Berlin; DT Antwon Burton; TE Eric Butler; DE Ian Campbell; LB Dominic Douglas; T Renardo Foster; FB Jerome Johnson; C Tim Mattran; Ogbonnaya; CB Cord Parks; Pittman; S Mark Rubin; G Roy Schuening; T Phil Trautwein; and WR Sean Walker.
Vested veterans who’s contracts were terminated: WRs Tim Carter and Ronald Curry; and S Todd Johnson.
As expected, DT Adam Carriker was placed on the injured reserve list.
Is there anyone in the front office that can play?
I would expect the Rams to try to sign Ogbonnaya and Jerome Johnson to the practice squad.

Computer geeks need to analyze every recycled hand me down player in the modern history of the NFL. Pie chart for each position. Most are probably going to fail in this youth oriented sport. Look at it this way. You’re laying on the sofa remembering your (half assed skills of yesterday}and then after one more beer you say “i could do that” and then you doze off.
