Is Boller forcing QB controversy at Rams Park?

OK, let’s start it right here, right now:

Assuming Marc Bulger is healthy this week, who should be the St. Louis Rams first-team quarterback? Kyle Boller is having a very nice day vs. the unbeaten Vikings, and the offense seems to have responded better to him overall.

But, will coach Steve Spagnuolo make the move from his anointed No. 1 QB?

Could be an interesting week at Rams Park.

“and the offense seems to have responded”… with three (3) red zone turnovers. Where’s the controvery?

Lack of confidence killed most of the Rams drives. Boller was a lot better than Bulger, in recent weeks. Even Steven Jackson played much better albeit the fumble. The Rams as a whole was much better with Boller, but it is obvious to many, that neither Kyle Boller or Marc Bulger are good enough to over come the turnovers and stupid penalties. Another fine (not) game for Mr. Idiot (Incognito). So much for the four pillars. Boller can be effective, when Pat Shurmur opens up the offensive play book. If not for the four turnovers, the Rams might have won this game. Minnesota had all the luck today, in spite of Brett Favre.

Bulger will start. Boller had protection today, I’d like to see what Bulger will do with protection. But Boller has confidence in himself and is ready to step in.

There’s no controvery.Bulger is the better QB but he is not 100%.So way not start Null in’til Bulger is ready. If you draft him then use him.If not don’t waste a draft pick.

I Truly beleive that the rams should go for a quarterback in the first round in the draft whether it be tebow or bradford

After watching the performance at qb, I would like Boller for the rest of the year. You cant blame the fumbles all on Boller. I understand the Int , but lets face it he’s not Dan Marino. I like the toughness and the griitiness of Boller. He scramles, and takes the qb sneak. Next week its Jacksonville, a possible win. Go with Boller Spags, take my advice…NY RAM

Please spare the talk about QB controversy. Bulger is the starter and has shown he is the starter. Boller hasn’t proven anything to demote Bulger. A young average WR group that can’t get open down field and if they do the OL doesn’t give the QB enought time. Boller does have 1 advantage, more mobility. He is not as accurate as Bulger with the deeper 20-30 yard throws. Thank goodness we have Jackson and can only imagine what it would be like if we had an OL that can open holes or allow for a productive passing game so the defense doesn’t stack the deck.

Anybody that thinks yesterday’s red zone appearance was because Boller is better need to wise up, if the Vikings had brought their A game we would have not managed anything. Let’s face facts we are a young team, a work in process and have been generally pleased with the defense, I am more concerned with the some of the offensive play calls, running the fullback to try and get a needed 1st down, please I hope he wasn’t thinking we would out smart the defense, you go with your best player and if doesn’t work at least you gave your best shot.

Brock Berlin is not on the team. Have Boller play until they get to the 20. Then bring in your relief QB, Bulger. Just kidding, they both are terrible. Try Null.
