No other moves Tuesday at Rams Park

Other than signing long snapper Ryan Neill, it was a quiet Tuesday at Rams Park. There were no other players signed; and after working out four long snappers Monday, there were no players in for visits or workouts Tuesday.

With long snapper Chris Massey and cornerback Bradley Fletcher both on the injured reserve list _ and only Neill signed _ the Rams still have one spot available on their 53-man roster. But St. Louis might simply hold that spot open for linebacker David Vobora. Vobora’s four-game NFL suspension ended Monday, but the Rams have a one-week roster exemption on him. Unless he plays Sunday against Detroit, he doesn’t count against the 53-man roster until Nov. 2.

If the Rams deem Vobora ready for game duty against Detroit, he would take that 53rd spot. If not, they may just go one player light this week.

Neill, by the way, will wear jersey No. 92.

Hey, Jim, I’m 64 years old, have creaky knees and a bad shoulder, but I’m willing to dress out as a wide receiver, run the wrong routes, and drop a few passes… as long as I get paid the same as Tim Carter.

Sign him.. At least Wildwood Curt would be entertaining and we couldn’t score any less. Bulger couldn’t get it to him anyway..
