Rams’ “dime” is a dollar short, as Colts march 90 yards to TD

To combat Colts QB Peyton Manning, the St. Louis Rams started their “dime” package — six defensive backs, one linebacker (James Laurinaitis) and four linemen (Leonard Little, Chris Long, C.J. Ah You, LaJuan Ramsey).

Didn’t work so well.

Manning drove Indy 90 yards on the game’s first possession. The 12-play drive ended with a 6-yard touchdown pass to WR Reggie Wayne.

7-0 Colts 6:10 after the opening kickoff.

Too many drops, 3 or 4 already in first half, all hit the receiver in the hands, can’t blame Bulger for stone handed receivers, blame Billy D. for not addressing this weakness before the season!
