Rams’ down linemen getting to Jaguars QB; CB King injured
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The St. Louis Rams have gotten three sacks so far from down linemen, an encouraging sign for a defense that has struggled to pressure the quarterbacks this year. The sacks were registered by James Hall, Leonard Little and Clifton Ryan.
Also, Rams CB Justin King is out with a groin injury. His return is questionable.

I cannot frigging believe it. This team with Bulger in the “lead” has the OPPOSITE of the killer instinct. They have the suicide instinct. We hold the Jags at the beginning of the second half, then our “O” repeatedly goes three and out with that vacuum they call an “offense” - St Louis media should be sued for telling lies, calling this an “offense”. What else could one expect but that the Jags would be glad to fill up the empty time left by the useless St Louis offense by finally overcoming their own lethargy, and grasping victory. For the last bit of the game, lets see if there is ANY pride in the Rams “offense”. Time to put up or shut up, Rams “O”. Score here to either tie or go ahead, or resign from the NFL. And I have to blame some of the play calling by Shurmer too. SJ was getting a good averqage, and with a small lead Shurmur calls lots of pass plays - just like he thought he had a QB and receivers!
I have been a St. Louis Rams fan for years, and everything is sliding down the tubes. It really sucks because the owners/coaches don’t seem to have any urgency to do anything about it. I mean, really? Did you think that all these clowns we signed in the free agency were going to help? They get into scoring positions and fumble, they can’t complete a pass to save their lives, and we commit penalties like crazy. We need to really take a step back and look at our team in comparison to some of the better teams in the league and see what the hell we are doing and fix it. Sign a good receiver for God’s Sake! Sam Bradford won’t help, because he won’t have anyone to throw it to. Dez Bryant all the way!
