WR Tim Carter re-joining Rams

Wide receiver Tim Carter is re-signing with the St. Louis Rams according to league sources, apparently taking the place of defensive tackle Gary Gibson, who suffered season-ending foot and ankle injuries Sunday against Minnesota.

Carter was with the Rams throughout training camp and the preseason before being released. With no guarantee that injured wide receiver Ruvell Martin (hamstring) will be healthy this week, the Rams need another body at that position. Even with Gibson undoubtedly heading to the injured reserve list, the Rams still have nine defensive linemen on their 53-man roster.

I suppose this will help, but not much. Probably not at all. On a separate note, I think the Rams should contact the donut bros. (Adam Timmerman and Andy McCollum) to play guard- they have to be better than Incongruent and Tinker Bell.

Just because someone stands up for racial inequality doesn’t make them a racist. Al Sharpton speak when issues of racial injustice would otherwise remain unseen and unheard. No he’s not perfect, but he does make a valid point.

To JustUs1
Sharpton is the biggest racist in this country. He has never done anything to bring the black and white communities closer together all he ever does is push them further apart. You are clueless.

Acknowledged that the Rams are a project from now through the future until 2012 right after the draft, …..but there are signs of life afterall in the current roster, right now. I thnk Spags see’s that too. The Rams played pretty good defense against the Vikes, setting aside the stupid turn-overs. More is expected, barring injuries like Gibson’s knee and ankle.

The offense actually made a couple decent drives, minus a few glitzes. The OC may keep his job yet.

In the beginning this year it seemed all the refs were against us. I actually saw some approving smiles for a Ram player yesterday.

For those of you that do not have Directv with a build-in DVR to record the games, zip forward and back, freeze and so on you should get it. There is a lot more to see that just normal TV. While I watched and recorded the Ram game yesterday I also was recording the Angels-Boston game in the same way. Last night I was up until nearly 3:00am going forward and backward, freezing, slow mo, fast mo and seeing a player better in action.

Shaw and Ziggy led the team into a dark hole for a decade. Like a frog fallen in a well, it takes time to climb out of the hole, slipping back a few leaps after gaining some yardage up every day on the slimy wall. It’s silly, worse stupid, to expect the frog to climb out of the hole pronto and turn into a singing butterfly with muscles.

Still, I see some fighting/struggling to do just that. One day, maybe sooner that you expect, all of a sudden the Rams will play well against a good team…and maybe win. Then, the current whinners will whine about not winning then all.

See, the frog just crawls out of the well and sits there on the wall top. prefectly happy to gawk around and see the flowers on the ground, turn and look down into the dark hole for a sec, and happily jump down to the solid earth and just keep leaping around some bushes and a new life to enjoy, soon forgetting the hooror in the smelly slimmy well.

This isn’t a fairy tale. The frog and the Rams are real. Both will survive this darkness and get to play outside once more…….based on a never again management like Shaw the saw/Zig the pig.

Hey, two sellouts in a row to help finance the future. If I was a Banker I’d charge a client like the Rams a minimum interest rate on a sure thing.

Sharpton is an extreme racist! Both races would benefit from his disapearance (would ever that should be).

JustUs1:

What does that have to do with Tim Carter? I’m so tired of hearing about Rush, and I’ve been tired of Sharpton for years. I just want to root for my football team. If Rush is a member of the ownership group, great, Go Rams! If Sharpton wanted to buy the Rams, great, Go Rams! I know it’s baby-steps, but they’ve gone from can’t get a first down to drive it to Minnesota’s 1 and fumble. That’s progress! Like it or not, that’s progress. Still a loss, I know. I’m so sick of “This guys sucks!” “They’re all BUSTS!” “If Rush buys the team, I’m turning in my season tickets!” Shut up! Root for your damn team! Go Rams.

I don’t care if snoop doggy dog (if that’s his name) buys the rams.
What’s wrong if Rush and Checketts buy the team.. It almost inevitably means they will stay in St. Louis and not move out of here in 2014, 2015?

Al Sharpton needs to focus on more productive issues. Leave the sale of the Rams alone.

Stay in New York and help that community.
