Big end-around run leads to 14-7 Saints edge

The 7-7 tie at the Edward Jones Dome lasted just 2:32. That’s how long it took the powerhouse Saints to march 72 yards, QB Drew Brees connected with RB Reggie Bush for a 15-yard touchdown. The big play was a 41-yard end-around run by WR Robert Meachem. St. Louis Rams DE Chris Long got caught inside, opening the perimeter for Meachem.
With 6:51 remaining in the opening half, the Saints are up 14-7.
