Bulger out 3-6 weeks with leg injury
The St. Louis Rams will be without quarterback Marc Bulger for three to six weeks because of fracture in the upper part of his shinbone. An MRI exam Monday disclosed the damage — technically called a tibial plateau fracture. It occurred Sunday in the 21-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at the Edward Jones Dome.
Coach Steve Spagnuolo said the injury does not require surgery. “It’s just crutches. He’ll have to say off it for a while,” he explained.
That means that Kyle Boller takes over as the first-team quarterback and rookie Keith Null moves up to No. 2. Boller started two games earlier in the season, after Bulger bruised the rotator cuff in his right (throwing) shoulder.
Bulger also had an MRI exam Monday for an injury to his groin-hamstring area, which has been diagnosed as a strain, Spagnuolo said. Bulger is scheduled for a neurological exam, too, because he took a blow to the head late in the game.

What possible difference could it make anyway?
Hopefully that was the last time we have to see Marc Bulger this season… or ever.
I dont blame him when ur treated like cr@p and getting sacked all the time over a career, then you can develop bad habits. I dont think ppl understand how much of a beating hes taken. The sacks dont even tell the story, hes been hit plenty of more times not including sacks. When you take so many hits, its gana effect ur game, I dont blame him. Its not an easy job and hes a good person off the field so show some respect ppl quit bashing when you dont even understand the full story. Maybe he can revive his career with some other team, like Warner did.
THANK GOD!
Since your privy to the whole story Ramsfan14 and none of us seem to able to understand it as fully as your brilliant self, why dont you enlighten us on why bulger is such a bad quarterback.
Yes there is a Santa!!!
The Rams’s management finally has it figured out. Just so everyone knows at Sunday’s game they gave out blue vomit bags when you passed through the gates.
He’s been beat up for years now because the offensive line sucks. I give him a break for being gunshy…
Somewhere Jack Snow is smiling.
I’d say our chances of beating Seattle just went way up. This could be a blessing in disguise because it should lead to some playing time for Null. Need to see if he has what it takes to be a top notch NFL QB. We’ll never find out if he doesn’t get into some game situations against good competition.
I’ve said all along that at most we would win 3 or 4 games this season regardless of who is at QB. Since we are rebuilding, we need to have some idea of what our biggest needs are.
