Cards turnover, Brown field goal gives Rams early lead

An early Cardinals turnover helped put the St. Louis Rams ahead. Rookie RB Beanie Wells fumbled a toss from QB Kurt Warner, and S Oshiomogho Atogwe recovered on the Arizona 25-yard line. Set back to the 30 on a 12-men-in-the-huddle penalty, the Rams had to settle for a 40-yard field goal by Josh Brown and a 3-0 lead just 2 minutes 40 seconds after the opening kickoff.
