Jackson tops 1,000 yards for fifth season in a row
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson has topped 1,000 yards for the fifth year in a row — the first in franchise history to do so. And he did it with flair, ripping off a 48-yard burst to the Cardinals 4-yard line.
But the drive couldn’t produce a touchdown. A 20-yard field goal by Josh Brown – the Edward Jones Dome crowd booed lustily at the decision to kick on 4th-down-and-2 — made it a two-score game, with Arizona leading 21-6 heading into the fourth quarter.
