Rams ask NFL for extension on ticket sales for sellout
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
With 1,500 tickets still remaining for Sunday’s home game against the Saints, the Rams have requested a 24-hour extension from the NFL in an attempt to fulfill sellout requirements and ensure that the contest can be televised locally.
The original deadline was noon today.

Stay away everyone! If the game is blacked out, we will be able to watch Atlanta @ Carolina, a game that might actually be competitive.
Agree with the 1st comment… Rams are going to get BLOWN out AGAIN!!!!
I’m going down to the game myself. It’s a great opportunity to see a great football team!
Al, I assume you are referring to the Saints.
Uh, no. If the game is blacked out, we get NO NFL during that timeframe. So it’s Rams or infomercials.
Besides, I thought I saw something yesterday on STLToday.com saying the game was already a sellout?
I want to see Chase Daniel back in the Black and Gold
This is ironic…….
They dont have enough support from corporate St. Louis to get five companies to buy 300 tickets and give them away to the Mathews Dickey Boys Club or some other worthy group of people who would enjoy the game.
They actually only need to “sell” 750 tickets because they are running a deal where if you buy a ticket, the Rams give away another to a member of the military. It’s sad that no company will step up and buy 750 tickets so they can give away 1500 tickets to members of the military (I’m looking at you Boeing).
stlmurph, that isn’t irony, it’s just sad
What a joke. Looks like that tickets for soldiers promotion turned out real well. Yesterday it says they need to sell 2,000 and today 1500? Do they have a ticket sales department on this team? Apparantely you can’t give Rams tickets away. Can’t wait til this crappy franchise leaves St. Louis.
