Rams blow chance for lead, lose WR Burton
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
With the St. Louis Rams threatening to take the lead against the undefeated Saints, QB Marc Bulger was picked off on a pass intended for WR Keenan Burton in the end zone. Safety Usama Young, filling in for the injured Darren Sharper, returned the interception to the 22-yard line.
To make matters worse for the Rams, Burton suffered what appears to be a serious injury to his right leg. He was taken off the field on a cart.
