DETROIT — Just 40,857 showed up for this clash of the Titans at Ford Field. And you thought attendance at the Edward Jones Dome was down.

But, but … didn’t anyone read Bernie’s column about St. Louis’ unconditional support for the Rams? Why doesn’t this support his propaganda, err, column? Is Bernie on the Rams payroll, or does he believe that without an NFL team it will hurt him in the pocketbook?

Ha… not high, but I’m showing all indications. It wouldn’t look good for me in a court of law. I stand corrected. Do you think if I WAS high I would prevent this mistake from occurring?

No it wouldn’t, because high or not, there is no cure for the stupid you just displayed

Wow, I thought there was about 20,000 there by the looks on the TV screen. Large areas of empty seats looking at the camera. I guess they count tickets sold and not people that show up.

40,000 people showed up to watch a 1-5 team play an 0-6 team and some of you think that is bad?!?!?! That is a lot of people to watch two of the worst teams in the league! 40,000 people at a Big Red game in the mid 80s would have been a triumph…
