Rams release WR Tim Carter; add cornerback
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Wide receiver Tim Carter, who had one catch and several drops in two games with St. Louis, was released by the team on Tuesday.
The Rams have filled his roster spot by signing cornerback Danny Gorrer off the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad.
Gorrer, from Texas A&M, was signed last spring by the Saints as an undrafted free agent.

If you can’t beat em’, sign players off their practice squads. I love it!
Yeah Like he wants to come from a winning organization to the rams dumpster
Hey D Nice - he was on their practice squad! He will likely get a chance to play here so yeah, he should be happy to get an opportunity to play.
yeah, nice observation D nice. he’s rotting away wasting time on their practice squad with little to no chance of coming up any time soon. I bet he’s just devastated he gets to go somewhere he can play! no, anything but that!!!!!
What’s this, like the second or third time we’ve signed someone off the practice squad of the team we’re about to play next? I don’t think this guy needs to show our CBs how to get burned by Drew Brees (TIC…sorta).
I guess the news out of Rams park is that if you can’t throw to a wide reciever durning a game, let’s cut him and pick up a corner back. TE’s our best reciever’s, why not just go and pick up a bunch of them.
So the Rams sign someone that couldn’t beat Tye Hill out of a job? Hmmm
Ummmm Tye Hill plays for the Falcons so I dont see how this guy couldnt beat him out since he plays for the Saints…although it could be argued that Tye Hill was an asset for the SAints last night when trying to cover their WR’s
dvh just got shown up. that must have hurt
Tim Carter was absolutely horrible…good riddence…
