Rams safety fined for roughing the kicker penalty
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Safety Craig Dahl’s rougher the kicker penalty last week against New Orleans cost the St. Louis Rams only five yards. But it cost Dahl $5,000. Dahl was fined by the NFL for running into Saints punter Thomas Morstead in the fourth quarter of the Rams’ 28-23 loss.

When I first saw the headline I thought the Rams fined him $5k for being stupid, then saw it was the NFL. Wow, next time they are going to fine someone for making a sack.
How stupid. What else are they going fine a player for?
The NFL seems more like a dictatorship. You can’t say anything negative or you are fined. I thought Dahl’s hit on the punter was the stupid and deserving penalty but not worth a fine… he landed on his foot… It makes the NFL seem like money hungry bureaucrats… wait that’s what they are
That is just rediculous…. how pathetic.
The next thing you know, players will be getting fined for dirty looks. This game is getting so watered down, it’s ridiculous!
What a crock-of-crap. NFL front office is a joke. Might as well start fining all penalties. On second thought maybe not. Barron’s won’t have any of his check left at the end of the month.
Next, they will be fining Barron for false starts to make some real money, or Incognito for his penalties. That is ridiculous. It was not flagrant, it was just a mistake on his part. Excuse him for wanting to play some football and going all out.
Dahl was fined $5,000 for running into the kicker, but the league approved Zack Follett’s hit — sure looked like helmet-to-helmet to me — on Amendola? What a joke.

They should fine Goddell for impersonating an NFL Commissioner and wearing New England Pajamas with the a “Kraft” logo on the backside !~!
