Rams sign WR Jordan Kent
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
The St. Louis Rams have signed wide receiver Jordan Kent to their active roster, filling the spot created when Keenan Burton suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
Kent has good size at 6-4, 219, but hasn’t caught an NFL regular-season pass since being selected by Seattle in the sixth round of the 2007 draft out of the University of Oregon.
Kent spent his rookie season on the Seahawks’ practice squad, He appeared in nine games last season for the Seahawks and was cut at the end of training camp this September.

I met his Dad (Ernie) the head BB coach at Oregon, on a flight to Eugene last year. Very nice guy, I hope his son can help.
Funny, I met his Aunt Rita, the women’s volleyball coach at Arkansas Wesleyan, on a Fellowship of Christian Athletes retreat bus ride to Cuba, Missuori. Tremendous beeyatch. Horrible person.
Do you know what they have in common with his football skills? ZERO. I don’t care if his grandma is a saint, he is getting paid six figures to perform, and he better get it done.
I think this is a good signing. I’ve watched him play when he was in college out here in the Pac-10. Kent’s a good athlete and played football and basketball at Oregon. And if I remember correctly he ran track as well so he’s got some wheels and should be able to stretch the field. I don’t know about his “hands” so if he has good ones then he should be able to help us for the rest of the season. Obviously, this is another chance for him to show if he belongs in the league.
Go Rams and Go Ducks!!
Rams have to be approaching a record for number of wr’s used during a season?
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got Kent! We got Kent! Oh wait a minute… on second thought who the F is Jordan Kent? Another impact sigining.
Burton showed promise. Hate to see Keenan suffer a season-ending injury. No doubt Jordan realizes he’s received another legit opportunity at an NFL career. Likewise, he’s smart enough not to waste it. Let’s see how quickly Kent can get up to speed.
tell me why we got rid of a awesome qb like kurt again?
mike martz hated the religious beliefs of kurt warner so thats why mike sat him the first chance he got…sad that when ur a good person and a damn fine qb religious or not that u get shunned away..but hey its the rams who really cares. ill care when we actually get a team on the field
2007? weren’t the Seahawks famous for dropping passes around this time. The Seahawk fans were bemoaning the fact that the receivers kept dropping the Hasselback passes? Well, we will see what we have in a few weeks i suppose.
At least the Rams FO is consistent. after every game there is a practice squad “shake-up” and a waiver wire signing!
