Final SLU basketball game times set

The three TBAs on the SLU basketball schedule are set.
Jan. 17, vs. George Washington at Chaifetz, 8 p.m.
Feb. 4, vs. Duquesne at Chaifetz, 6 p.m.
Feb. 21, vs. Dayton at Chaifetz, 7 p.m.

What is with the shifting start times? Why can’t the Bills be consistent?
The 8 p.m. start time, I’m told, was set by the league because there’s another A-10 game being televised from 6 to 8 and they didn’t want the broadcast windows overlapping. That might be the same issue on the 6 p.m. game. Otherwise, a 6 p.m. start for a Wednesday game against Duquesne doesn’t make any sense at all. Not that I’m opposed. From my point of view, an hour earlier start is a thousand times better than an hour later start. (When your deadline is 10 p.m., a game that ends at 8 is a tad simpler to work with than a game that ends at 10.) But I’m in an extreme minority on that matter.
