SLU basketball loses its No. 1 ranking

SLU has been ranked No. 1 in the nation for most of the season in 3-point field goal defense, but after a couple of big nights by last week’s opponents, Temple and Richmond, SLU has dropped to No. 4. The top four are Tulsa, West Virginia, Illinois and then SLU.
SLU is 11th in the nation in scoring defense and 18th in personal fouls per game and turnovers per game.
