SLU holds line on season tickets, cuts prices on some

SLU has announced its season ticket pricing for next season. Any seat that requires a donation is staying the same: $450 a year, plus the donation. Some of the sections that don’t require a gift are being reduced, one section at $299, another at $180. That lower package works out to about $10 a game. There are about $2,500 tickets that will be cheaper. (I fixed it to say some, but not all, of the other sections will be reduced.)

SLU’s home schedule next season will include SIUC, Missouri State, Nebraska, Xavier, Temple and Dayton, plus the school expects to get another BCS conference team.

Good move. It would be great to see more of the seats on the ends filled with season ticket holders and the lower prices might help encourage some recent grads to buy them.

TT, you have your facts slightly wrong. Not all of the seats that don’t require a gift are dropping in price. The ”green” seats on SLU’s chart, which don’t require a gift, will remain the same price. http://www.slubillikens.com/tickets/mbb-season.html (Unfortunately, I already emailed my whole ticket group and told them our seats were dropping in price.)

Sorry to get your hopes up on that David. I left out the word “Some,” which I have now inserted. Not all of the tickets in the upper bowl are cheaper.
