Rencher hired as assistant at Texas State

Terrence Rencher, who spent last season as SLU’s senior graduate manager, has been hired as an assistant coach at Texas State.
He’s the second straight person in that job, which is seen as a coaching development spot, to get a full-time job out of it. Rencher’s predecessor, Alex Jensen, was promoted to assistant coach at SLU after last season. SLU coach Rick Majerus often refers to it as the Danny Manning job, because he held the post at Kansas.
