Theresa Lisch got an early wedding present from the Atlantic 10, whose athletic directors voted her the league’s female scholar-athlete of the year. UMass soccer player Zach Simmons was the male winner.

Lisch, who is getting married next month, was a first-team All-Atlantic 10 selection and a first-team academic all-American. Lisch led the A-10 in both scoring (19.1 ppg.) and free throw percentage (.889), while ranking fifth in the A-10 in assists (3.63 apg.) and three-point field goals (1.97 pg.). She scored a program-record 37 points in the Billikens’ 77-73 win at La Salle on Jan. 17 and amassed a program-best 574 points on the year. She ends her career as SLU’s all-time leader in free throws made (406) and free throw percentage (.869).
