Meet the basketball team event on Oct. 28

The men’s basketball team will host a “Meet the Team” event at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Chaifetz Arena.
Coach Rick Majerus will speak at 7 p.m. and fans will be able to meet the players and get autographs.
Other activites at the Meet the Team night include inflatable games for kids, on-court contests for prizes, complimentary popcorn and soda, and much more. The Billiken Band and the SLU spirit group SaintSations will be performing during the evening. Billiken Hall of Famer Bob Ramsey, the voice of the Billikens, will serve as emcee for the evening.
The Billikens, who were 18-14 last season, open the regular season on Nov. 14 against Southeast Missouri.

However, if local media attend, Coach Majerus will duck out and assistant coach Porter Moser will talk to the fans.

meet the team, whoopee, who cares when there’s no way anymore to watch practice and majereus is a no show for pre and post game radio with bob ramsey. I always felt it was great pr to have open practice.
