Thompson is one of 10 A-10 postseason transfers

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

With Brett Thompson transferring from SLU, it got me wondering as to how common it is for players to transfer from A-10 schools.

It turns out that half of the teams in the league have had players transfer out after the season.…

Goodbye Brett Thompson

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

A few days after the Sports Illustrated story on Rick Majerus came out over a year ago, I said hi to then-recruit Brett Thompson as he sat behind the SLU bench at a game at Scottrade Center.

What did you think of the…

Brett Thompson is transferring

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

SLU-St. Joseph’s the morning after

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Sorry I’m late on this but I was at Chaifetz till about 1 a.m., so everything’s a bit late. SLU seems to have St.  Joe’s number. That’s three in a row against the Hawks, SLU’s longest active win streak against…

SLU-Rhode Island recap from afar

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

I watched this game on TV much like most of you, so consider my insights accordingly. But the obvious thing to say is, turn the ball over 20 times, you’re going to lose. In the past two games, SLU has…

St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Sorry to be late with this — I know you’re planning your day around it — but with last night’s late start and my need to watch the U.S.-Mexico World Cup qualifying match before I knew the result chewed up…
