Lineup 3.7: Dodgertown bound
DODGERTOWN, Fla. — Make it a hat trick for Skip Schumaker who got his chance to hit leadoff and hasn’t let it go for three consecutive days.
Manager Tony La Russa takes a lineup north this morning that features an outfield the Cardinals will probably see at some point during the 2008 season, barring any waiver risk of Skip “Mr. Spring” Schumaker. The pitching plan is more the story today as Joel Pineiro makes his spring debut, Cliff Politte is scheduled to throw in his first game and prospects Kyle McClellan and Chris Perez are likely to make appearances.
The Cardinals (4-5)
- Skip Schumaker, LF
- Colby Rasmus, CF
- Albert Pujols, 1B
- Rick Ankiel, RF
- Juan Gonzalez, DH
- Adam Kennedy, 2B
- Yadier Molina, C
- Cesar Izturis, SS
- D’Angelo Jimenez, 3B
Starting pitcher: RHP Joel Pineiro. Followed by (an abbreviated list): RHP Kyle McClellan; RHP Chris Perez; RHP Cliff Politte.

L,L,R,L,R,L,R,S,S when a RHP is in the game there are only three RH bats that will be interesting. Heres hoping Pineiro is healthy..
