“Twilight” film moved to earlier release date
The movie version of “Twilight” has gotten moved up. It will now be released on Nov. 21. (It had been scheduled for Dec. 12.)
“Twilight,” along with a CGI-animation feature by Disney called “Bolt,” will now get the Nov. 12 date. They benefit from an earlier release because the film “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” which had been scheduled for that date, is being pushed back to July.
The “Twilight” film will no doubt help boost Christmas sales of the paranormal romance, along with any new “Twilight” tie-in books Meyer has coming out in the fall.

Yes, twilight will boost sales of some holiday items, but retailers are already up in arms over losses due to the delay of HP. Most large retailers have already spent millions upon millions in popular hp merchandise of which will now have to be stored until the release. WB’s arbitrary decision was ridiculous and effects not only HP fans but retailers who were hoping for a boost from the November release. Sign the HP petition that has over 30,000 signatures in three days and then go to http://pottersorder.blogspot.com and send WB executives a message through their email initiative.
