Main Street Books e-mailed its newsletter, and even though I probably won’t go to the book club discussions, I love finding out what clubs are discussing. There is quite a diverse selection here, from a popular women’s title (”Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society” by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows  ) to the real inspiration for an Oscar-nominated movie (”The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” by F. Scott Fitzgerald).

Main Street Books, a quaint, old-fashioned-style bookstore, is easy to find amid the historic row of antique stores and restaurants. Even if you don’t make it for a book club discussion, it’s a fun place to browse. And to get ideas for your own book club selections:

Book Clubs

We have two book clubs that meet at the store: first Monday at 7 pm and third Monday at 7 pm. New members are always welcome. Members receive a 10% discount on book club books. NOTE: The third Monday book club is the former second Tuesday book club. What’s old is new again!

We also welcome guest book clubs that want to take a little field trip and meet here. Call Vicki to make arrangements.
