Speedy reader Harry Levins spent the day with Dan Brown’s “The Lost Symbol.” His review doesn’t divulge any secrets, unless you count the opening scene.

On the other hand, staying circumspect sure makes it hard to get into much about the book. Still, Levins confirms what most educated guessers were predicting about the follow up to 2003’s “The Da Vinci Code.”

Update Wednesday: Random House told Publishers Weekly that “The Lost Symbol” sold about 1 million copies in the United States, Canada and Great Britain on its first day of sales (Tuesday).

Has anyone else finished the book today? How long will it take you to read 500 pages?
