Sherman Alexie at Mad Art Gallery

Writer Sherman Alexie will be at the Mad Art Gallery tonight, not at Left Bank Books, as some listings have said.
The free event is at 7 p.m. and the address is 2727 South 12th Street. Left Bank will be selling Alexie’s new book, “War Dances,” which the Post-Dispatch reviewed Sunday.
The title story from the collection was printed in the New Yorker magazine and is a great, tragi-comic example of Alexie’s work.
