St. Louis book-related events for week of Nov. 23

Here is a list of book-related events starting Sunday, Nov. 23. It looks like a relatively quiet week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

SUNDAY

The Rest is Noise Reading Group: The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra reading group hosts this program featuring discussions of “The Rest Is Noise: Listening to the 20th Century.” Includes musical excerpts and appearances by SLSO Music Director David Robertson. 7 p.m. at St. Louis Brewery and Tap Room, 2100 Locust Street. Holiday Scholastic Book Fair: Includes new and classic books and educational products from more than 150 publishers. Storytelling session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
