Alicia Silverstone cancels stop in St. Louis

Brief update from the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival, which begins Sunday.
Alicia Silverstone has canceled all of her remaining book presentations, including the one she had scheduled at the Festival on Nov. 12 at 7:30pm. For more information, people may call 314-442-3299.
The actress (best known for “Clueless”) had only just launched her book tour for “The Kind Diet,” which promotes a vegan diet. She has a new website that details a recent stop in Portland, Ore., but doesn’t say why she’s canceled other book tour appearances. The book went on sale about two weeks ago and is ranked a healthy (!) 104 at amazon.com.
Isn’t Paul Shaffer from the Letterman show going to be there? He has a book out now.
No, he’s not on the schedule for St. Louis.
