State approval of Ballpark Village at least six more weeks away

Members of the Missouri Development Finance Board met today by conference call but absent from their agenda was final approval of public subsidies for Ballpark Village in downtown St. Louis.

Ballpark Village election, sort of, this month

An election of sorts involving Ballpark Village is scheduled for June 16.

To be decided is whether a 1 percent tax can be levied on retail sales at Ballpark Village to help the development. So far, there is no development. No voters, either.
