Express Scripts shares rise on earnings report

Shares of Express Scripts Inc. were up $4.70, or 8.2 percent, in mid-morning trading Thursday after the St. Louis County based pharmacy benefits manager reported Wednesday afternnon that higher sales of generic medicines boosted third-quarter earnings 25 percent.
