Sabreliner wins T-34 job

Sabreliner Corp., a Clayton-based aerospace supplier, has won a four-year deal with Sikorsky Support Services Inc. to supply inspection services on the U. S. Navy’s fleet of T-34s.

The T-34 is the Navy’s primary pilot-training aircraft and has been in service for more than 50 years. It flies approximately 275 of them.

Sabreliner will perform the inspections at its Perryville facility. The work will include partial disassembly, inspection, repair and repainting. The company expects to add up to 50 employees over the next few years. The company employs about 350 employees, all in Missouri and Kansas.
