Nissans to be built in Fenton?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Nissan Motor Co. and Chrysler LLC are reportedly in talks that would lead to Nissan supplying Chrysler with small cars and Chrylser taking over manufacturing of Nissan’s full-size pickups.
BusinessWeek, on its website, quoting sources close to Chrysler with knowledge of the company’s plans, said Chrysler would produce a full-size pickup for Nissan at one of its U.S. plants now producing the Ram. The pickup would be derived from the Ram and replace the Titan pickup Nissan currently builds in Canton, Miss. Chrysler’s North assembly plant in Fenton is one of three plants that assemble the Dodge Ram.
