Stifel hires five investment bankers from A.G. Edwards

Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. has taken on five investment bankers who formerly worked for A.G. Edwards & Sons, as the shakeout continues in the wake of Wachovia Securities’ purchase of A.G. Edwards last year.
Two - Doug Rubenstien and Chad Gorsuch - will be based in St. Louis, which the other three will be in Stifel’s investment banking office in Boston.
Rubenstein will be a managing director in Stifel’s real estate investment banking group. Gorsuch will be a vice president.
