Heartland bank reorganizes management
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Heartland Bank of Clayton said David Minton will become president and chief executive this week when Chief Executive Don Williams retires on Friday.
Williams, 60, who joined the bank in 2003, will buy a subsidiary of the bank that markets group retirement plans and employee benefits. He also will be a consultant with the bank.
Lisa Frederick is being promoted to chief operating officer, and Samuel Luten will become chief lending officer.
The bank called the reorganization a “planned management succession plan.” Minton, 49, is credited with helping Heartland double its size to $850 million in assets over the last four years.
