MEMC takes center stage at NYSE
Those of you who routinely tune-in to CNBC to watch the opening bell rung at New York Stock Exchange may recognize a familiar name Thursday morning.
The president and chief executive of MEMC Electronics Corp., Nabeel Gareeb, will ring the ceremonial opening bell that begins the day’s trading.
And if you’re curious but the morning bell isn’t part of your routine, the opening bell ceremony is broadcast live on CNBC at 8:30 a.m.
While many companies use the opportunity to make an announcement, MEMC said today it has no announcement scheduled.
