Cass Information Systems names new CEO
Cass Information Systems Inc. said today it has promoted Eric Brunngraber to chief executive from president and chief operating officer. He replaces Lawrence Collett, who is retiring as CEO after 18 years in that job.
Brunngraber, 51, joined Cass in 1979 and has held a number of executive positions with the Bridgeton-based firm.
Cass provides invoice payment and information services to the transportation, utility and telecommunications industries. Last year, it had net income of $17.8 million and net sales of $88.7 million.
“Speaking on behalf of the board of directors, as my responsibilities with the company gradually wind down, we are grateful to have an individual of Eric’s ability and experience groomed to step in to assure a smmoth transition,” said Collett, who will remain in his position as chairman.
