Furniture Brands names new CFO
Furniture Brands International Inc.’s 10-month search for a chief financial officer is over.
The Clayton-based furniture manufacturer and importer has signed Steven G. Rolls. Most recently, Rolls was CFO at Global Energy Inc., a privately held environmental technology company. Prior to that, he was executive vice president for customer management at Cincinnati-based Convergys Corporation, a human resource and billing service company.
Rolls, who has worked at BF Goodrich, Alberto Culver and Wilson Sporting Goods, will help oversee Furniture Brands’ efforts to implement a “shared services model” across its various brands - including Broyhill, Lane and Thomasville - and transform itself from a holding company into an operating company.
