UMB appoints Chulick head of St. Louis region

UMB Financial Corp. today said that W. Thomas Chulick is the new chairman and chief executive of UMB Bank St. Louis.

Chulick, 53,  will continue to lead UMB Asset Management, supervising private banking and personal trust services in the St. Louis region. He will report to Peter deSilva, UMB Financial Corp.’s president and chief operating officer.

David H. Naunheim, 53, has been promoted to president and chief lending officer of UMB Bank here and Gail Sneed, 42,  will be senior vice president of consumer banking in St. Louis.

Peter J. Genovese, 62, who had run the St. Louis bank, will remain vice chairman of UMB Financial, focusing on company-wide growth and strategy.

UMB is based in Kansas City.
