Cast an actor who’ll play your boss

Imagine if you will: “The Office” producers show up at your workplace, and they’re going to produce an episode involving you. Who’s going to portray your boss?

Now were this to happen at Biz Buzz headquarters, no doubt Hugh Jackman would be cast as me.

As for my boss, he looks a lot like Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United’s famed manager. But Sir Alex might not qualify as an actor, and he can be hard to understand with the Scottish accent. Better yet, my boss could be played by another dashing, well-heeled St. Louisan, Kevin Kline.

My attempt to preserve my job is now complete.

Sometimes though, when real-life stories are translated to the screen, the actor is nothing like the real thing. That’s why I’m hoping my boss could be played by Katy Perry. She could do a few musical numbers, she could strut around in a power pant suit and accuse employees of being “yes then you’re no” men.
