St. Louis firms make Fortune list of best places to work
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Edward Jones, the brokerage firm based in Des Peres, was ranked second on Fortune magazine’s new list of the best 100 places to work in America.
As Wall Street went into meltdown, Jones got credit for assuring workers that it had no exposure to toxic mortgages of financial derivatives, and no plans for layoffs.
Jones’ hometown competitor, Scottrade, made number 60 on the list. The brokerage firm has never had a layoff, Fortune noted.
Buid-A-Bear Workshops came in at 94. “Employees gush about working in the 375 mostly mall-based stores and interacting with parents and their kids who create their own stuffed teddy bears,” Fortune wrote.

Why is the Post not listed??? Where is AB?
The future of America is based on intelligent, pampered, high paid and productive employees. I wish more companies would understand how to get more from less.
