How good (or bad) were the Super Bowl ads this year?

Funniest: Cavemen “can opener sucks!”
2nd Funniest: Mouse tackles man for doritos
Cleverly odd: Etrade baby rents clown
Disturbingly odd: Guy’s chest jumpstarts car
Most heartwarming: Charlie Brown ends up with Coke
Funniest/best: Doritos - giant rat guy jumping through the wall and kicking the guy’s butt.
2nd: Shaq the horse jockey.
3rd: Etrade - kid uses his earnings to rent a clown only to realize that they are weird.
I missed the caveman one.
Didn’t suck TOO bad: Audi - parody of the Godfather/horse’s head in the guy’s bed scene.
The rest were horrible or so mediocre that I don’t even remember what they were. This was like the 1998 SB when the .com’s all wasted their money on ads before going bankrupt.
Not an ad, but worst Super Bowl moment was when Bellichick displayed such horrible leadership and sportsmanship by going into the locker room before the last play was run.
This is the guy who probably cheated to beat the Rams in 2002, and now we see him for who he is. Way to go Bill.
The Doritos commercial with the giant mouse is not a new commercial.
I don’t know where I’ve seen it before, but I know I have. (maybe at the theater before the feature started???)
My favorite was the E-trade talking baby and the “Cheese Run” Bud Light spot.
Overall this years crop of ads were well below par, especially Will Ferrell who is just plain stupid, boreing and a waste of time completely !!
Doritos, best !
The doritos was the greatest commercial. I also enjoyed the commercial with Naomi Campbell’s.
I liked the “Cheese Run” Bud commercial. I hated the new Diet Pepsi and and SoBe commercial. And I agree with Adam B, I think I’ve seen the giant mouse commercial before. Also I agree that Will Ferrell was a waste of time and money.
