Don’t forget to check out Crime Beat
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
The Post-Dispatch’s relatively new Crime Beat blog has two stories of local interest today.
One is about an investor from Defiance who has been accused of running a pyramid scheme. He was indicted on federal fraud charges.
The other is about an O’Fallon, Mo., woman who admitted to having sex with a teenage boy and providing alcohol to minors in her home. She was fined $500 for the misdemeanor alcohol counts and is expected to be placed on probation for the sex charges when she is sentenced on Aug. 24.

Forgiviness is divine
Please note that the City of O’Fallon does not pay for maintance of the ballpark at all. The taxpayers have absolutely no burden on it at all as the team picked up the $300,000 burden that the city previously had on an annual basis. The Rascals should be commended for this and note they have gotten very little support from the city in the last 4 years. Hopefully this is changing!
