A Youtube user has posted a video of his police scanners picking up radio traffic among officers during a police pursuit of two carjacking suspects that ended in their deaths.

The two Hazelwood men, both in their 20s, fired shots at a St. Charles County deputy while trying to elude him, police have said. For the full story, click here.

The pursuit and crash were reported about 7 p.m. Nov. 29:

The video isn’t much to watch, but the audio reveals the entire pursuit from the time a St. Charles County deputy was rammed until after the suspected carjackers collided with another stolen car on Interstate 70.

The two men in the Cobalt–brothers Anthony, 23, and Darrell Thomas, 22, were killed instantly. Four male teenagers–15 to 18 years old–in the other stolen car were taken to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions ranged from serious to critical.

The deputy suffered minor injuries from being rammed by the suspects, police said, and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
