Cops: O’Fallon, Mo., wallet thief crept through garage
Rebecca Prost, 19, of the first block of Staunton Way, has been charged with first-degree burglary.
Shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday, police say, Prost broke into a home in the 1100 block of Spring Orchard Drive by sneaking in through an open garage door, and swiped a wallet from a purse sitting in a laundry room.
Police say a man who lives at the home awoke as Prost was inside, police said. Prost ran out of the house and the man chased her down the block, where they fought. That’s when someone else inside the house called 911 to report the burglary.
Prost bit the man on the forearm but he was not seriously hurt, police said. Officers arrived as they were fighting and arrested Prost.
She was jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bail.

Wow, what a “class-act”.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha i know her.. stupid girl
Better start locking those doors…you’re not living in Pleasantville here.
Geez, doesn’t street walking pay her enough?
O’Fallon sure has been on a downward slide the last few years. Shootings, murders, rapes, robberies, burglaries, city council / Mayor turmoil. I think this is a good example of a city grown way to large for it’s britches. The expansion solely for the taxes has had negative consequences. Smaller is better.
“won’t live there”, What rock do you live under.
she should consider herself lucky to be alive
It’s a shame, hope it wasn’t for drugs.
If you can be up at 5 am to steal, you can be up at 5 am to get ready for work too.
wow she is hot!
