I was browsing the Francis Howell School District website recently and came across this item I just had to share with Chas Beat readers. Aimee Kick, a senior at Francis Howell North, got all Project Runway-esque for prom this year.
The dress in the picture at the right is made entirely from coffee filters. Yup, that’s right. Coffee filters.
You can read all about her one-of-a-kind prom dress here.

She looks like a typical teenage girl who wants her parents to stop taking pictures so she can go. Cool dress!

I imagine coffee filters can handle getting wet. =)
Great job on the dress.

I don’t know. It looks like those filters may have done their job. She looks absolutely devoid of any color. Suppose they filtered out her pigments?

I congratulate this young woman for her creativity and not being afraid to do her own thing. As for the post by Janet, your comment was ignorant and completely uncalled for. You should be ashamed.
