Engineers inspecting the Blanchette Bridge have finished survey work ahead of schedule and will not shut down the middle two westbound lanes Thursday as previously planned, the Missouri Department of Transportation said today.

The lanes had been closed since Monday during the inspection. The scheduled shutdown from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday has been canceled.

Enjoy your commute.

Now if they could only cancel the non-blinker using, late mergeing, to slow and too old from driving then that would be a story.

Typical government workers finishing ahead of of schedule to avoid snarling traffic! Bridges are socialism! It’s like anyone can just use them.
