Crucifixes, icons return to Boston College
Boston College student paper The Heights ran a 2/12/09 story about the
sudden appearance on the Jesuit campus of multiple crucifixes and icons, Crosses Meet Mixed Reacton:
Students and professors may have noticed a few changes in the Boston College atmosphere upon returning from winter recess: a fresh blanket of snow on the landscape, the removal of holiday decorations, and crucifixes hanging above chalkboards in every classroom.
