Update: Horn section changes at SLSO

Yes, it’s true: Assistant principal horn Larry Strieby is moving down to the utility horn position, after 41 years in the assistant horn chair.
The talented and highly capable Tod Bowermaster will serve as acting assistant principal/third horn for the 2008-09 season.
And the orchestra held auditions for horn players on June 16. There’s no word yet on how that went, but these are all steps in the right direction.
